Pre-medical students, Medical students and Residents
We are offering an internship designed for individuals preparing for medical school (or highly motivated pre-PA, pre-NP or pre-nursing students). Shadowing and rotations are also available on a limited basis. Priority will be given to learners interested in Integrative Medicine and/or Direct Primary Care.

Job Opportunities
While we currently don’t have any open positions, we anticipate hiring soon and would love to hear from interested applicants. Non-discrimination applies and generation/genders that differ from Dr. Lok’s are welcomed. Any person hired will likely work closely with Dr. Lok together on patient tasks and clinic tasks. We are searching to applicants interest in perusing steady, long-term employment.
Nurse or Highly-Motivated Medical Assistant:
Timeframe to start hire: few months to a year
We anticipate a nursing or medical assistant role becoming available within the next few months (likely year at the latest). This will be a dynamic position suited for someone who enjoys variety in their workday—from triaging patients to engaging in business-related activities like networking at local events or picking up materials from the print shop. The ideal candidate is someone who communicates well, advocates effectively for patients within today’s complex healthcare system, and brings a calming, reassuring presence to their care. Phlebotomy skills for both adults and children would also be ideal.
Primary Care Physician
Timeframe to start hire: few months to 2 years
Looking ahead, we may be expanding our team of primary care physicians and possibly providers in the next 1–2 years, with a particular interest in those who take an integrative approach to patient care or have training different from Dr. Lok such as OB.
